Students in Traverse City gains hands-on experiance restoring Coast Guard helicopter.
This Coast Guard Search and Rescue helicopter traveled from a museum in Chicago, Illinois, where the H-52 Seaguard helicopter had previously been stationed in service of the greater Lake Michigan region. During its operational years, the aircraft played a vital role in safeguarding mariners and supporting search and rescue missions throughout the Lake Michigan sector. C
